NORMAN -- The city of Norman is inviting community members to provide input on the city's updated Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan during an open house at 3 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 201 W Gray St.

The open house will begin with an introduction from Mayor Lynne Miller followed by a presentation of the updated plan and public discussion.

Residents may add their comments or recommendations for accessibility to an interactive map online at https://bit.ly/2NJwtrm as part of the city of Norman's continuous review process.

Norman adopted the ADA Transition Plan in June 2018 after the completion of a comprehensive review of city programs, services, activities, public buildings, parks and pedestrian facilities within the public right of way. Now, the plan's primary focus is the accessibility of city facilities.

The open house will be from 3 to 5 p.m. in the multipurpose room in Norman City Hall.

For more information and to view the ADA Transition Plan, go to www.normanok.gov/city/americans-disabilities-act.
