BRIEF: Wheelchair access ramps will be installed at intersection

May 15--PEORIA -- Construction is to start Tuesday on ADA-compliant ramps at the intersection of North Sheridan Road and West Albany Avenue.
Construction of the ramps that comply with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act should take about two weeks, weather permitting, according to a news release Monday from the Peoria public works department.
Two-way traffic will be maintained during construction, but motorists are encouraged to watch for changing traffic patterns on Sheridan from Lawndale Avenue to Richwoods Boulevard.
