Karen Owens, education and family services manager with the Western Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will present a program on "Dementia Conversations: from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the Moore Senior Center in West End.
This program is for anyone who would like to learn tips on how to have honest and caring conversations about going to the doctor, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and/or financial plans.
"If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia, learn more about how to have conversations about the disease and your loved one's changing behaviors that have been challenging and uncomfortable," says a spokesman.
