BRIEF: Washington state firm eyeing northeast Eugene site for large nursing home

Sept. 01--A Washington state senior living firm may build a large new nursing home in northeast Eugene.

Prestige Care is eyeing a three-acre lot on Crescent Avenue to build a 69,000-square-foot facility with 80 to 106 beds, according to preliminary planning documents filed with the city of Eugene in late August.

The documents list the site as tentative. The Vancouver, Wash. company has apprently been looking at the area since at least April, documents show.

Prestige Care manages the Fox Hollow Residential Care assisted living center in south Eugene, Creswell Health and Rehabilitation Center and Coast Fork Nursing Center in Cottage Grove.
