Trying out the new hoops

Jul. 30--A group plays a game of pickup basketball on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the newly reopened Bartlett Park in New London. The park reopened over the past week after closing in the early spring for renovations that include two new reconfigured basketball courts, an Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant walkway, a picnic area and a renovated bathroom adjacent to the firehouse. A grand reopening ceremony and a youth basketball tournament is planned for Friday.
