Missing person: Disabled El Paso woman walked away from assisted living center

El Paso Times - 7/26/2019

Jul. 26--El Paso police are asking for the public's help to finding a mentally disabled woman who walked away from the El Paso State Supported Living Center.

Edna Rojo, 53, was last seen Tuesday when she left the center at 6700 Delta Drive next to Ascarate Park, police said.

"There was no foul play or any other suspicious circumstances involved but she is in danger due to her mental impairments which render her unable to care for herself," a police news release stated.

Rojo was filmed by a security camera wearing a blue T-shirt with a large Dallas Cowboys star in the front. She was wearing beige cargo pants and brown boots.

Rojo has a shaved head, brown eyes and is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 160 pounds.

Anyone with information on Rojo's location is asked to call 911.
